Flood rescue team rescued 120 years old woman


The Bayelsa State Emergency Medical Services at Agudama in Yenagoa Yesterday helped save the life of an eldery citizen of the state. 

Mrs. Rhoda Tamunu, an elderly woman, whose age is put at 120 years, has been rescued from a submerged house in Bayelsa State.
Tamunu was rescued by the state Emergency Medical Services at Agudama in Yenagoa, the state’s capital on Wednesday.
Apart from Tamunu, many Bayelsa residents have been displaced by floods which ravaged the state recently.
The Dickson Seriake administration, in the wake of the disaster, inaugurated the state Emergency Response Flood Management Committee for immediate evacuation of flood victims and provision of relief items.
Already, many residents have been confined to the relief camps awaiting the next moves by the government
