Bidding Allowed on Jay-Z's Autographed Carter #4 Brooklyn Nets Jersey

Usually when an artist like Jay-Z gets something custom-made, it's extremely exclusive, one-of-one, never to be created again. Apparently, that isn't the case with the Carter #4 Brooklyn Nets jerseys Jigga wore throughout his sold-out 8-show inauguration of BK's Barclays Center. Jay has autographed and posted 10 of the limited edition jerseys up for auction through NBA auctions.

Granted the jerseys still aren't available to the masses nor are they going cheap, but should you end up buying one, along with having a piece of Jay-Z's historic opening of the Brooklyn arena, you're also doing a world of good for kids across the country. All proceeds of the auction will go to the Shawn Carter Foundation, which offers grants to high school seniors and college students across the country. The jerseys, which Hov designed in conjunction with adidas, become reminders of the bridge between all stages of the pursuit, the application and the support of "genius level talent."
